This guide outlines essential security practices for Gnosis Pay users, including protecting your card and PIN, safeguarding your seed phrase, and avoiding phishing scams. It also explains how to identify suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
Gnosis Pay is built with strong security infrastructure, but your vigilance is critical in keeping your funds and personal information safe. This guide offers a practical checklist to help you secure your account, card, and wallet.
Your Security Checklist
🛡️ Protect Your Card and PIN
Never share your card details: Do not disclose your 16-digit card number, expiry date, or CVV to anyone.
Keep your PIN private: Never write down or share your PIN — not even with Gnosis Pay staff.
Shield your PIN: Always cover the keypad at ATMs or point-of-sale terminals.
🔑 Safeguard Your Wallet
Never share your seed phrase: This is the key to your wallet. If someone gets access to it, they can control your funds.
Gnosis Pay will NEVER ask for your seed phrase. Anyone who does is trying to scam you.
