You don't have to move to a partner app. Plenty of people won't, and that's fine - nothing you ignore will cost you your funds.

We highly recommend Zeal users to add an extra Gnosis Pay owner wallet to their Gnosis Pay card Safe. This can be done by accessing app.gnosispay.com from inside the Zeal browser.

YOUR MONEY IS YOURS

It stays in your Gnosis Pay Safe. It isn't transferred, frozen or reclaimed, and we can't freeze or seize it. Your Safe is on Gnosis Chain and belongs to you - that doesn't expire and is not affected by changes at Gnosis Pay.

The withdrawal page stays open and the tool is open source. You can move funds whenever you like - there is no deadline. 📄 Withdrawing after your card stops

After that, payments stop and recurring payments on it will fail.

YOUR CASHBACK ISN'T AFFECTED

Anything paid to you before the cashback programme ends on the 30 September stays yours, and your GNO stays in your Safe - not staked, nothing to unstake, just withdraw it whenever you're ready.

YOUR IBAN KEEPS WORKING

If you have a EUR IBAN, incoming transfers still arrive in your own wallet. If anything regular pays in, either redirect it or move your IBAN to a wallet you're actively using - otherwise money accumulates somewhere you've stopped looking. 📄 Getting money to a bank account

YOU CAN JOIN A PARTNER LATER

Let the card stop, leave your funds where they are, and sign up with a partner app whenever you like - as a new customer, with new ID checks and a new account. You'd withdraw from your Gnosis Pay Safe separately, whenever suits you.

THE TWO THINGS WORTH DOING ANYWAY

  1. Check you can access the wallet that owns your Safe. If you lose it, nobody can recover those funds.

  2. Consider adding a second owner, while the web app makes it straightforward.
