A declined payment can be frustrating — but most issues are simple to fix.
Use this checklist to find out why your transaction didn’t go through and how to resolve it.
🧾 Troubleshooting Checklist
1. Insufficient Funds
✅ What it means: Your Gnosis Card Safe does not have enough EURe, GBPe, or USDCe to complete the payment
What to do:
Open your partner app (e.g. Zeal, Picnic, Metri)
Check your balance

Add funds if needed
2. Incorrect Card Details (Online Payments)

What to do:
Re-enter your card information carefully
Make sure your billing address matches your Gnosis Pay profile

What to do:
-
Check your card limits in the Gnosis Pay app
4. Security Flag Triggered
✅ What it means: Our fraud prevention system blocked a transaction due to unusual behaviour (e.g. location, frequency, merchant type)
What to do:
Check for security alerts in the Gnosis Pay app
If you suspect fraud, freeze your card immediately
5. Restricted Merchant or Country
