How to get an IBAN associated with your card

We’re making it simple to manage your money with an IBAN (International Bank Account Number) linked to your Gnosis Pay card. Here's a quick guide for both current and new customers.

Who Can Get an IBAN?

Right now, IBANs are only available for EU cardholders and restricted to citizens of some nationalities, you can find the restrictions list here. If your card was issued outside the EU or you have citizenship from one of the restricted nationalities, you’re not eligible just yet. But don’t worry, we’re working on expanding this service to other regions.

Important Details

  • Monerium Partnership: Your IBAN is issued through Monerium. At the moment, you can only receive money via your IBAN through the Gnosis Pay app. If you want to send money, you can do so through the Monerium app.

  • KYC Details: We’ll share your Know Your Customer (KYC) details with Monerium to comply with financial regulations.

Steps for Existing Gnosis Pay Customers

  1. Log in to Gnosis Pay: Open the app and log in.

  2. Click "Get IBAN": On the home screen, select "Get IBAN."

  3. Accept Terms and Conditions: Review and accept the terms and conditions.

  4. Sign a Transaction: Use your EOA (Externally Owned Account) wallet to confirm the transaction.

  5. Wait for Completion: The process takes about three minutes. During this time, your card will be temporarily unavailable.

  6. Your IBAN is Ready: Once complete, your IBAN will be generated. You can view it by clicking on "Add Funds." For every euro transferred, one EURe will be deposited into your card’s address.
