Key Changes from the GIP-110 Programme
For users familiar with our previous programme, here’s a quick summary of what’s different
Spend Cap:
The main change is the move from a flat weekly spend cap to a tiered weekly spend cap. Both the cashback rate and weekly spend cap scale linearly. The more GNO you hold, the higher cashback and weekly spend caps
Tiered Caps:
Your maximum weekly spend eligible for cashback is now tied directly to your GNO holdings. Higher holdings unlock a higher weekly cap.
Funding:
This programme is now fully funded by Gnosis Ltd., not the Gnosis DAO.

Rates and Weekly Spend Caps
Your cashback rate and maximum eligible weekly spend are based on your GNO balance held in your Gnosis Pay Card Safe.

No rollover: unused cap doesn’t carry over.

Ineligible Transactions
The following do not qualify for cashback:
ATM withdrawals and cash advances
Bank account top-ups
Refund cycling (making purchases then refunding)
Merchant self-payments
Self-funding or collusion to inflate spend
Rapid repeat transactions to the same merchant
Automated or scripted transactions
Abnormal or suspicious spending patterns

Penalties: Disqualification from this and future DAO-funded reward programmes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if I hit my weekly cap mid-week?
A: Once you reach your weekly spend limit, you will stop earning cashback on any further transactions within that week. Your next weekly payout will include any cashback you earned before hitting the cap, but nothing more until the next week begins.
Q: When does my weekly cap reset?
A: Your spend cap resets to zero at 00:00 UTC on every Sunday.
Q: One of my purchase’s cashback was not paid out until the following week..why?
A: Cashback weekly snapshots are based on the transaction clearing dates. What this means is that you may do a purchase on a Saturday but the transaction is not cleared until past 00:00 Sunday or on Monday and this cashback will be part of the following week snapshot.
Q: Do I still get the +1% OG NFT bonus?
A: Yes! The OG NFT bonus continues. As long as you hold the NFT and have at least 0.1 GNO in your Safe, you'll receive an extra 1% cashback on all eligible spending.
