Manage Gnosis Pay Safe Account Owners

Introduction

This guide explains how to add or remove multiple safe account owners from your Gnosis Pay account. Every Safe account owner can perform all actions on the safe including sending funds out of the Safe and changing the spending limit.

Add Owner

‼️ IMPORTANT:
Any Safe account owner has complete and full control over the Safe itself. Please ensure that you only add yourself as a Safe account owner and double check the address you add before proceeding.

We recommend you don't remove your old wallet before you test out:

  1. Login with the new wallet

  2. Do an on-chain action with the new wallet (change spending limit for example)


1. Go to your 'Account' page

Log into your Gnosis Pay account and head to the account page to manage your settings.

2. Select 'Account details'

Navigate to your 'Account details' page within your Account.

3. Edit 'Account Owners'

Click "Edit" next to the 'Account Owners' section and select 'Add address'.

4. Add a New Owner

Enter the wallet address you want to add and click 'Save'.

5. Confirmation

After you enter the address, sign the transaction prompt to process the change. Wait 3 minutes for the delay module to process and add the new account owner.

6. Completion

Refresh the page after 3 minutes to see that the new account owner has been added!

Remove Owner

IMPORTANT:
You cannot remove the owner that you are signed in with. Please sign in with an owner that you wish to keep to remove any unwanted owners. We recommend you don't remove your old account owner wallet before you test out:

  1. Login with the new wallet

  2. Do an on-chain action with the new wallet (change spending limit for example

1. Go to your 'Account details' page.

To remove an owner, go to your 'Account' page on the Gnosis Pay platform, and visit your 'Account details' tab.

2. Edit and Remove an Existing Account Owner

Click "Edit" next to "Account Owners" to see your current owners and start removing them by clicking the trash can icon.

3. Confirmation and Completion

Refresh the page after 3 minutes to see that the new account owner has been removed!
