Here’s a step by step guide on how you can order your Gnosis Card
1. Connect your wallet: The wallet you are using to signup will also be the wallet that controls your Gnosis Pay Safe wallet.
a. Currently this wallet has to be an EOA wallet (for example- Metamask), we do not support using a Safe multisig to signup yet (this feature is on the roadmap).
2. Select your country of residence: by clicking on the dropdown, and choosing your country.
a. If you are not currently in one of the eligible countries, you can join the waitlist and be notified as soon as Gnosis Pay becomes available in your country.
b. If you are in one of the eligible countries, you will be able to proceed to the next stage.
3. You will now be directed to a page where you can click on the Terms and Conditions to read through them. After this step, you can click on 'Get Verified with Fractal' to verify your identity with our partner, Fractal.
4. Provide information on Fractal’s webapp: You will now be redirected for Fractal’s webapp where you can login securely via email.
As part of the process you will be asked to provide the following information:
a. Click on 'Allow' to approve access for Gnosis Pay to access the information to verify your account
b. Choose your country of residence from the dropdown options
c. You will then be asked to provide your address as well as a proof of address by uploading a document from the list mention in the photo below
d. You will now have to upload an Identity proof document like a passport
e. Next, you will have to take a selfie to prove you’re a human. After this step, click on 'Continue authorisation' to proceed.
5. Wait for approval: The review process typically takes only a few minutes. However, in rare cases, it may take several hours. If this happens, please wait for an email from Fractal. The email will notify you when your KYC is approved or if any additional information is required.
6. Review your shipping address: Post successful verification, you will be redirected back to the card order page. Here you can:
Review Address: that you provided in the Fractal KYC (this address will be auto-populated and you won't be able to change it)
Review your ENS name: if your connected wallet is the owner and resolved address of an ENS.
If the address is incorrect or you are unable to select your ENS despite being the owner and resolved address, please contact us using the chat bot on the bottom right corner or by sending an email at [email protected].
Once you have reviewed this information, you can click "Go to Payment" to pay and order the card.
7. Get EURe to pay for the card: As the card costs 30.23 EURe, you will need to have sufficient EURe tokens in your EOA (externally owned account) wallet on Gnosis Chain. If you already have EURe, you can directly pay for the card. If not, we have added the LiFi (Jumper.Exchange) widget to make bridge&swap easier for you.
When you click “Get EURe using LI.FI” on the above screen, you will be greeted with the integrated LiFi widget.
NOTICE: Please be advised that Li.Fi/Jumper is currently investigating a potential exploit. In the meantime, we strongly recommend that you do not use the platform until this is resolved. As a result, the Li.Fi/Jumper widget has been disabled on our webapp as a precautionary measure. As LiFi is a bridge aggregator, you can use any EVM chain supported by their aggregator to be able to get EURe to your wallet on Gnosis Chain. For instance, in the following screen, we are choosing MATIC on Polygon, which will be bridged and swapped to EURe to your wallet.
As you may have noticed, LiFi widget also allows you to get gas (xDai in our case). If you do not have any xDai, the native gas token of Gnosis Chain, in your wallet, do toggle that button so that you get some gas, which you will need to have to make the final payment for the card. After selecting the chain and the token you would like to be bridged and swapped to EURe, you will review the bridge transaction, which will give you an estimate of gas to be spent and the amount of EURe you will get as a result of the transaction.
8. Pay for the card: After the bridge and swap transaction is completed, you are ready to pay for the card.
At this stage, all you need to do is to set your wallet to Gnosis Chain (if it is not already added, you can go to https://chainlist.org/chain/100 to get it automatically added), and pay for the card.
Note: If for whatever reason you still need some xDai, feel free to use the official xDai fuacet or the small chatbox on the bottom right corner to create a ticket, and we will be glad to send you some xDai that you can use for gas.
9. Card Ordered : Once the payment is completed, you will see a screen confirming the successful placement of your card order.
Later you will receive an email who will ask you to confirm your shipping address as well as a few other information. After finishing the verification your card will be shipped and you will receive an email notification.
