Recovering funds sent by mistake

If you sent funds to your own Safe address on the wrong network, they aren't lost - they're sitting at the same address on a different chain, and we can help you get them back. If you sent them to someone else's address, or to an exchange, they can't be recovered by us.
I sent funds on the wrong network
If you sent funds to your Gnosis Pay Safe address on a different chain, they aren't lost - but you'll need us to help recover them.
Your Safe address exists on other chains too, and your funds are sitting at that address on whichever chain you used. What hasn't happened yet is the Safe being deployed there, and that's the part we do for you.
This works on most EVM chains. Email us if you're not sure whether yours is covered.

Email help@gnosispay.com with:
your Safe address
the chain you sent the funds to
the token and amount
2 · We deploy your Safe on that chain
We'll do this and let you know when it's done. We can do this until 12 June 2028.
3 · Open that Safe and withdraw
Once we've confirmed it's deployed, connect to your Safe on Safe{Wallet} with the same owner wallet you use for your Gnosis Pay Card Safe, switch to that network, and send the funds wherever you want them.
If your token doesn't show up, send a tiny amount of the same token to your Safe address on that chain. That refreshes the token list and usually makes the full balance appear.
This doesn't depend on the Gnosis Pay web app. You do steps 1 and 3 through email and Safe{Wallet}, so the web app closing makes no difference. What it does depend on is step 2 - so if this has happened to you, don't leave it.
I sent a token the Gnosis Pay card does not support
Tokens Gnosis Pay doesn't support can't be spent on your card, but they're still yours and you can move them out the usual way.
I sent funds to the wrong address, or to an exchange
Blockchain transactions can't be reversed, and we can't retrieve funds sent to an address we don't control.
If you sent to a centralised exchange deposit address, contact their support immediately - recovery is sometimes possible but isn't guaranteed.
If you sent to a stranger's wallet, there's nothing that can be done.
