When you activate your Gnosis Pay Card, a dedicated Safe{wallet} is configured with smart contract modules that enable secure, rule-based payments. To keep these protections working as intended, it’s important to manage this wallet carefully and treat it as a single-purpose spending vault.

Treat It as a Secure Spending Vault
The Gnosis Card Safe is designed to hold the stablecoins (e.g. EURe, GBPe, or USDCe) you plan to use for your card payments. This focused purpose ensures the card's Delay and Roles modules function without interference.

Use the Safe to hold and spend supported stablecoins only
Treat it like a dedicated card account—simple, focused, and secure
🚫 What to avoid:
Do not use this Safe for general-purpose DeFi transactions
Avoid storing your full portfolio or interacting with complex smart contracts from this wallet
Use a Separate Wallet for DeFi and Other Crypto Activities
We recommend using another wallet — such as your main MetaMask or Rabby address or a second Safe — for your regular crypto activity.

Technically, yes — you can use your Card Safe for other transfers. However, all outgoing transactions will be subject to the mandatory 3-minute delay built into the Delay Module.
If you're performing tasks that require immediate confirmation (like swaps or minting), this delay could cause inconvenience.
Best practice: Reserve the Gnosis Card Safe for stablecoin card use only, and keep your active wallet or DeFi setup completely separate.
